The First Initiative
The First Initiative (TFI) is back! Following a generous amount of positive feedback, we have decided to launch another wave of TFI this term!
This project is a compilation of both essays and problem questions with a first and second upper-class grade that is intended to enhance the academic writing content of our members by providing the reference to essays as a guide whilst recognizing that students desire the best for themselves in terms of their writing.
Requirements And Guidelines
a. Individual essays must be in the form of Words Document (.doc/docx), there are no restrictions on word count but as much as it is decent.
b. Essays in the form of Words Document must carry its subject, essay title and grades (as graded by lecturers or tutors in your respective school).
c. Please send your essay to Choo Sheau Kee via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
d. Participants may submit any essay preferably from the shortlisted topics or other educational topics, but one must not reproduce previously submitted essay. The latter shall be abandoned.
e. All essays will be compiled for vetting process to take place on the 25th of March 2019. The entire vetting process is expected to last for 7 days and results shall be finalised on the 31st of March 2019.
f. Post vetting, every participant will receive a notice from KPUM in regards to the status of their individual essays.
g. First class essays that are chosen to be published will be reimbursed £3 as their publication reward whereas Second-Upper class essays will be entitled to £2 reimbursement. The same applies to participants based in Malaysia, relative reimbursements will be paid out subject to currency rate of the day.

b. Personal details of the participant (i.e. Name, Year of study, University)

Rest assured our team would do their very possible best in taking steps to protect the content of the much-valued essays. Some of these steps would include:
- Insert a Copyright Footer eg. © 2018 kpum.org;
- Watermark Image on the essays using KPUM logo;
- Restriction of access to download the essays by viewers;
- Other terms and conditions such as moral rights to forbid any sort of economic gain in publication.
